I'm Howard. I graduated from the
Reconstructionist Rabbinical college in 1994. Over the years I have had
the opportunity to provide rabbinic services to congregations from
Alaska to Boston's South Shore. I currently lead a small congregation
in Duxbury MA.
My rabbinic
career also include serving as a prison chaplain and Dean of Jewish Life
at a Jewish high school. For twenty years I ran a Jewish wilderness
guiding business called Burning Bush Adventures.
It
has been my pleasure to officiate at weddings on mountain tops, docks
over looking lakes, in beautiful fields, lovely facilities and even on
the shores of the Aegean Sea.
In
2001 I became the chaplain of a fire department. I expanded my duties
to include actual firefighting and eventually retired after 20 years as
the department's deputy chief. I've continued to be involved in the
fire service by volunteering with an organization called Africa Fire
Mission.
In addition to all of the above, I have a private mental fitness and coaching practice called
Code3 Leadership Coaching.
